Award-winning local energy provider, ActewAGL, has partnered with Australian telco, Aussie Broadband, to give customers a simpler way to organise their essential services when they move home.
Under the new partnership, customers can choose to bundle their ActewAGL electricity or gas account with any Aussie Broadband nbn® plan. Eligible customers who take up the bundle offer will receive up to $100* of energy bill credits on their ActewAGL account, applied evenly over 12 months.
The partnership reflects a growing shift in customer expectations, with more people wanting the convenience of setting up their energy and internet together. The bundled offer arrives as Canberra enters its busiest moving season, with thousands of people preparing to relocate to the region for work, study and lifestyle changes.
ActewAGL Group Manager Energy Transition Products, Todd Eagles, said, “The partnership isn’t just about convenience—it’s about reducing decision fatigue during one of life’s most stressful moments, moving house.”
“By bundling energy and internet with trusted local providers, ActewAGL and Aussie Broadband are giving customers back something priceless—mental bandwidth,” Mr Eagles said. “Instead of juggling multiple providers, timelines and bills, customers can focus on settling into their new home and community."
“By working with Aussie Broadband, we’re making that possible, without compromising on our commitment to providing 100 per cent Australian-based support and exceptional customer service to all our customers.”
Aussie Broadband General Manager Wholesale & Channel Partnerships, Tony Nikolovski, said, "We're delighted to partner with ActewAGL to help connect their ACT and South-East NSW utilities customers to Aussie Broadband's award-winning internet, backed by our all-Australian-based customer support.
“We know that more customers are looking to bundle multiple services for simplicity and ease, and with this partnership and offering, they'll get exactly that from the outset."
ActewAGL customers can sign up for the Broadband Bundle via the website, or by contacting our Canberra-based contact centre on 13 14 93.
