Gas
Need to remove your gas meter? Request a gas meter abolishment and we’ll arrange it all with the gas network operator.
Evoenergy network
If you’re in the ACT, Queanbeyan, Bungendore or Shoalhaven, we’ll coordinate with the gas network to turn off the gas at the street, purge the gas line and remove the gas meter/s. The cost will depend on whether it is a residential or business site and whether the abolishment is standard or complex. If a quote is required, we will not proceed with the abolishment until the quote has been accepted.

Jemena network
If you’re in the Capital region (Boorowa, Goulburn, Yass and Young), we’ll arrange for the gas network to remove your gas meter and disconnect the service line at the street. The cost will depend on whether it is a residential or business site and whether the abolishment is standard or complex. If a quote is required, we will not proceed with the abolishment until the quote has been accepted.
