If you hold a current Centrelink Pensioner Concession card (PCC), Centrelink Low Income Health Care card (HCC) or Veterans' Affairs Pensioner concession Card, the electricity and/or gas account holder may be eligible for a Concession
Please note: the Commonwealth Seniors Health Care Card is not an eligible card under the scheme.
ACT Utilities Concession: ActewAGL manages the Utilities Concession on behalf of the ACT Government. The Utilities Concession covers electricity, gas and water and sewerage services and is passed to you via your electricity account. The Utilities Concession is calculated on a daily basis and is shown as a separate line item on each electricity invoice
NSW Energy Concessions: ActewAGL manages the energy concession on behalf of the NSW state government. The concession is calculated on a daily basis and is shown as a separate line item on your electricity and/or gas invoice. For each billing period, a concession will be applied if the following provisions are met:

You will need to reapply for a concession if you change your address. Applications must be submitted as soon as possible prior to the issue of the first account on which the rebate is claimed.

GST applies to the balance of your electricity account after the rebate has been deducted.
