Code of conduct

ActewAGL is committed to building a diverse workforce where employees’ individual differences and attributes are respected and valued. The organisation does not tolerate discrimination, unsafe work practices, fraudulent behaviour, and other inappropriate behaviour. ActewAGL requires employees to align their behaviour and work practices with this Code of conduct and its policies and procedures.

ActewAGL requires employees to adhere to the following guidelines.

Our culture

Employees must:

  • act honestly and with integrity and treat everyone with respect and courtesy
  • create and maintain a culture that is free from harassment, discrimination and bullying
  • work cohesively with colleagues to achieve divisional and corporate goals
  • be competent in the areas in which they work and continue to develop skills and competencies
  • maintain a high work output, be optimistic, and share achievements with colleagues.

The Drug and Alcohol Policy (PDF, 305 KB) applies to all workers and contractors of ActewAGL Retail and ActewAGL Distribution.

Breaches of the code

Breaches of the code may result in disciplinary action as detailed In the ActewAGL Enterprise Agreement or the relevant Management Services Agreement.
