Pathways

We work with community groups that provide frontline services and support to customers that are struggling to manage their energy bills. These groups assist us to identify people who may be struggling as early as possible and to have them guide our assistance to where it may be needed most.

Care Inc. Financial Counselling Service – 6257 1788
Care Inc. partnered with ActewAGL in 2017 to deliver a community energy education program providing additional support in managing energy bills, empowering clients to make informed financial decisions around energy use and improving financial capability skills. If you are interested in participating, call 02 6257 1788 and discuss the ActewAGL Energy Support program with Vicki or Aoife.

Salvation Army Moneycare Financial Counselling – 13 72 58
The Salvos offer free, confidential financial counselling. ActewAGL regularly liaise with this service in Canberra, Queanbeyan, Goulburn and regional NSW.

St Vincent de Paul Society – 6234 7424
St Vincent de Paul provide direct assistance with housing, accommodation, food, general and crisis support. In NSW, they may be able to assist with energy expenses by issuing EAPA vouchers.
