Tuesday 08 May 2018

ActewAGL and COTA ACT are hosting a two-hour workshop to support and inform Canberrans on how to better manage their energy consumption this winter.

"Winter is a peak time of energy use and throughout the season we look to support customers by providing them with information to better understand and control their energy use," said Paul Walshe ActewAGL.

"This workshop will provide practical tips and knowledge to help you make changes to reduce your energy use.

"There will be representatives from CARE Financial who provide advice on managing household budgets, we will also be joined by ACT Smart who will give their top tips for winter-proofing your home. Our energy expert’s will also be on-hand to take questions and give advice.

“Attendees will have the opportunity to win one of three $100 Bunnings gift vouchers to spend on things that can make a difference like door stoppers, which keep the warm air in and the cold air out," concluded Paul.

The workshop will be held on Wednesday 16 May, 1.30pm - 3.30pm at the Hughes Community Centre to RSVP visit or call 1300 138 574.
