Appliance payment plan

Purchasing and installing a heating, cooling or hot water system is easy and more affordable with the option of a 12 or 24-month ActewAGL Appliance Payment Plan.

To apply you will need to:

  • purchase your system from the ActewAGL Energy Shop located at 100 Gladstone Street, Fyshwick;
  • read the terms and conditions before completing the application;
  • pay a one-third deposit of the total amount owing at the time of application except in case of an emergency hot water installation.

Your application will be assessed by ActewAGL and our answer will be returned to the ActewAGL Energy Shop in most cases within two working days. If approved, your application will be valid for three months.

Applications will only be accepted:

  • for supply and installation of new fixed equipment in domestic homes in the ACT and NSW (partial upgrades or repair are not accepted);
  • when you make loan repayments by direct debit;
  • through the ActewAGL Energy Shop located at 100 Gladstone Street, Fyshwick;
  • where ActewAGL is the energy supplier where the appliance has been installed;
  • a copy of evidence for property ownership is required where the property owner is not in the ACT, such as a land-rates notice;
  • for emergency hot water replacement if you provide the ActewAGL Energy Shop with evidence of property ownership identification, such as a land-rates notice (maximum finance up to $2,800).

We do not accept applications for (a) supply only (b) installation only or (c) registered builders, unless it is for their principal place of residence.

Final decision on approval rests solely at the discretion of ActewAGL. Approval of your application must be completed prior to the installation being carried out. Terms and conditions apply (PDF).
