We use electricity every day and often take it for granted but care must be taken when handling it. ActewAGL offer some useful hints to keep you safe when using electricity.

Do you have a natural gas hot water heater in your bathroom? How about a natural gas hot water heater in your kitchen? Natural gas water heaters can produce deadly levels of carbon monoxide if not regularly maintained or serviced.

Your obligations as an ActewAGL customer include protecting ActewAGL's equipment, for example, keeping trees clear of electric wires and maintaining clearances around meters and poles. This should be done in a way that does not create safety risks or block access to electric wires or underground cables.
