About direct debit
What is direct debit?
Direct debit is the easy way to pay your ActewAGL accounts from your savings/cheque account or from your credit card account. Depending on the payment option you choose, you may be able to select the amount you want to pay, and the frequency of your payments.
Why should I use direct debit?
Direct debit will save you time and possibly money.
If you use direct debit from a savings/cheque account for your electricity and water/sewerage accounts, you will receive a discount of $20.08 (GST inclusive) per service per annum. That's a total saving of $40.16 for both services per annum. The discount is calculated daily and is deducted from your electricity and water/sewerage accounts.
Please note:
- the discount does not apply if you pay by credit card
- the discount does not apply for ActewAGL Bundle services contracts in the ACT and NSW.
