How Greenchoice works

You don’t need extra powerlines or installation. Your energy is supplied by ActewAGL, the same as before. It just means we buy more electricity from renewable sources, like wind power, biomass, mini-hydro and solar. That amount of renewable energy is added to the electricity grid on your behalf. So the overall result is fewer greenhouse gas emissions created from electricity generation from your home or business, compared to Greenchoice not being purchased at all.
