What is Greenchoice?

Greenchoice is ActewAGL's green energy program that lets everybody help the environment by supporting renewable energy generation. Through Greenchoice you help us buy electricity from sources that have a reduced impact on the environment, and sources that cannot be depleted or can be replaced such as wind power, solar, mini-hydro and biomass.

The Greenchoice program is independently assessed by the government's National Green Power Accreditation Program to guarantee that the green energy we source comes from government-approved renewable energy sources.

These energy sources do not produce the greenhouse gases that contribute to global warming.

A special thank you to our 9,000 Greenchoice customers who have contributed to saving 19,130 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions so far this year just by being apart of the Greenchoice program. That's like taking 4,449 cars off the road for a year!
