Some important changes to our gas bill

  • Gas account number
    You’ll notice your account number has changed. When making a payment, check your reference number on the back of your bill in the Payment Options section.

  • POST billpay and BPAY biller codes 
    These codes have changed. When making a payment, check the new codes on the back of your bill in the Payment Option section.

  • Account enquiries phone number
    Our contact number has changed to 13 14 93. We now have the same phone number for both gas and electricity.

  • Credit card payments over the phone
    When making a payment via credit card our interactive phone number has now changed to 1300 30 90 99.

  • Mailing address
    When making a gas payment by cheque, these should now be mailed to our new address Locked Bag 465, GPO Canberra ACT 2601.

My gas bill looks different, is it fraudulent?

No, this is not a fraudulent bill. We've updated the way our gas bill looks and included new information to help our customers understand their charges and savings.

What's changed on my gas bill?

1. Your bill will look different and now includes more information on your charges and savings.
2. Your account number is now 2-digits longer and will appear as your payment reference number on the back of the bill.
3. The payment details:

- Our POST billpay code is now 3261
- Our BPAY code is now 3038
- The number for phone credit card payments has changed, now 1300 30 90 99
- The mailing address for cheques has changed, now to Locked Bag 465, GPO Canberra ACT 2601.

These updates ensure your gas bill is consistent with your electricity bill and help you to manage your accounts easily.

What number do I need to call for my gas enquiries?

We're now using one number for all gas and electricity enquiries. You can now call 13 14 93 and select the appropriate option for assistance.

How has my gas account number changed?

We’ve made updates to our gas payment information to align it with the same details as electricity. This means you now have extra 2 digits added to your old account number. Your account number appears in the top left hand box in your bill.

What happens if I use my old BPAY payment reference number?

Your payment will go through as usual, but we recommend using the new number to avoid any confusion or delays in processing your payment.

We’ve updated our gas payment information to align it with the same details electricity payments, including our BPAY code. It's now: 3038. You’ll need to keep this number in mind for any future payments.

What happens if I use the old BPAY number?

Your payment will go through as usual, but we recommend using the new number to avoid any confusion or delays in processing your payment.

Why is there a new POST billpay number?

We’ve updated our gas payment information to align it with the same details electricity payments, including our POST billpay code. It's now: 3261. Take your bill into an Australia Post office and they will process your payment using the new code.

What happens if I use the old POST billpay number?

Your payment will go through as usual, but we recommend using the new number to avoid any confusion or delays in processing your payment.

Why is there a new phone number for gas credit card payments?

We’ve updated our gas payment information to align it with the same details electricity payments, including our phone number for credit card payments. It's now 1300 30 90 99. You’ll need to keep this new number in mind for any future payments.

Why is there a new address for posting my gas cheque payments?

We've made updates to our gas payment information to align it with the same payment details as electricity including our postage address for cheques. It's now - Locked Bag 465, GPO Canberra ACT 2601.

My gas payment reference number looks different – why?

We’ve updated the gas payment reference to be the same as your new gas account number. Your payment reference number is located at the bottom of the second page of your bill.
