Who can use the NSW electricity and natural gas supply online application?
The application can be completed by south-east NSW residential and small business customers who:
- use less than 160 MWh or spend less than approximately $16,000 on electricity each year and live in urban areas
- are on a standard or off-peak price plan (does not apply to customers on time-of-use plans).

What information do I need to complete the NSW electricity supply online application?
All you need to supply is:
- your contact details
- the best time to call
- the name of your current retailer
- the connection date you’re aiming for.

How long will the NSW electricity supply online application take to complete?
The application should take no longer than five minutes to complete.

Do I have to enter all the information the online form asks for?
You do not need to complete all of the questions. You must complete all questions marked with an asterisk. If you have missed any mandatory information, a prompt will appear indicating which question needs to be completed.

How will I know that ActewAGL has received my application?
When you have completed the application, you will be presented with a receipt number for your records.

What happens once I submit the NSW electricity supply application?
Following submission of your application, you will be presented with a screen showing a receipt number for your records. An email will be sent to you to confirm that the application has been received.
For security reasons, we will not email details of your online application. It is therefore advisable to print a copy of your receipt for your personal reference.
