Environment impact study

The joint venture commissioned planning and environmental consultants URS Australia Pty Ltd (URS) to prepare the environmental impact statement (EIS) for the proposed wind farm.

Preparation of an EIS involves undertaking scientific studies and evaluating potential impacts of the proposed wind farm, both positive and negative, on the community and surrounding environment.

The EIS received approval from the NSW Minister for Planning, Mr Frank Sartor in October 2005.

The EIS is available for review at the Woodlawn wind farm website.
