What is the Work Practices group?

The Work Practices group, part of ActewAGL Electricity Networks, is a quality unit dedicated to training delivery. The group is a registered training organisation with the Australian National Training Authority.

The Work Practices group provides a training and assessment service for ActewAGL employees and the distribution and construction industries. The Group provides training and advice about:

confined spaces
fall prevention
cardio-pulmonary resuscitation
manual handling of equipment
pole-top rescue
occupational health and safety
environmental care

The Work Practices group provide confined space training for more than 70 external businesses in the ACT and NSW. Tidbinbilla Tracking Station and ComCare have used the group for risk assessments and procedure development.
