Safety Systems and Training

ActewAGL Networks has a Safety Systems and Training team dedicated to training delivery.

ActewAGL is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) under the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF). The Safety Systems and Training team provides the training and assessment service to ActewAGL apprentices and employees as well as the public, especially in relation to those working within the utility industry.

The RTO courses ActewAGL offers are:

ActewAGL is licensed by the Road Traffic Authority to provide the following traffic management training:

ActewAGL also offers the following courses. Any worker who performs work on the ActewAGL network is required to be accredited in these courses.

  • Vegetation management
  • Substation and switch station entry and awareness.

The trainers and assessors are highly qualified and have extensive industry experience. Participants are supported through the training programs to ensure they have an enjoyable and rewarding learning experience.

Please fill out the application form for the course you wish to attend and return to the Safety Systems and Training team by fax, email, post or in-person to the contact details listed below.
