ActewAGL Community Sponsorship program

ActewAGL believes in supporting the community that supports them.

In addition to providing financial support each year in community sponsorships, ActewAGL takes a hands-on approach by investing time, resources and expertise into many of its partnerships. This includes organising and working at events, driving fundraising campaigns and generating publicity.

Through our community sponsorship program, ActewAGL currently provides sponsorship assistance to over 150 charities, schools, community groups, sporting teams and businesses throughout the capital region, including:

• the ActewAGL Royal Canberra Show
• Floriade
• the Australian Science Festival
• the CA Brumbies
• Canberra Raiders
• Sydney Swans games at Manuka Oval.
• Christmas and New Year in the city
• The Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal
• ActewAGL host a BBQ for Camp Quality
• Koomarri

ActewAGL is also able to provide in-kind sponsorship rather than direct cash support, such as providing electricity, natural gas or even our Greenchoice Energy products for community events.
