Michael Costello, Chief Executive Officer

Mr Costello is the Chief Executive Officer of ActewAGL and is responsible for corporate reputation, and the corporate management of the organisation.

Ivan Slavich, Head of Retail

Mr Slavich is responsible for the development of markets for electricity, natural gas, water, wastewater and internet services. He is also responsible for energy purchasing, pricing, forecasting, settlement and marketing.

John Barriga, Chief Information Officer

Mr Barriga is responsible for Business Systems at ActewAGL, including IT operations, applications and support and business information.

Asoka Wijeratne, General Manager Water

Mr Wijeratne is responsible for water customer services, water assets, field services and water and wastewater treatment.

John Knox, Chief Finance Officer

Mr Knox is responsible for ActewAGL's finance and resources, including general accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, financial planning and analysis, corporate treasury, regulatory affairs and human resources.

Paul Walshe, Director Marketing and Corporate Affairs

Mr Walshe is responsible for media, marketing, public relations, online communications, sponsorship, event management, communications and graphic design services for ActewAGL, TransACT, Ecowise Environmental and Neighbourhood Cable Pty Limited.

Norris Robertson, Director Audit Services

Mr Robertson is responsible for the internal audit function. Internal audit has the dual aims of providing the board with assurance regarding the adequacy of internal controls and management with analysis and advice regarding the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes and controls. He reports directly to the ActewAGL Board Audit and Risk Management Committee.

Dianne O'Hara, General Manager Business Development and Strategy

Ms O'Hara is responsible for development and ongoing review of core strategic plans for ActewAGL. Ms O’Hara is also responsible for the realisation of business development opportunities identified within the strategic framework.

Ian Macara, Legal Counsel and Board Secretary

Mr Macara is responsible for legal advice, insurance and risk management, secretariat, corporate procedures, environmental reporting and investigations.

Michael Charlton, General Manager Networks

Mr Charlton is responsible for ActewAGL's electricity and gas networks business, including network compliance, systems, development, technical services and operations, streetlight maintenance and logistics.

Tania Hutchison, Director Human Resources

Ms Hutchison is responsible for corporate human resources management, including enterprise agreement negotiation, corporate training and development, employee health and safety and employment policy and procedures.

David Graham, Director Regulatory Affairs

Mr Graham is responsible for regulatory affairs, monopoly service and network pricing, and compliance with regulatory determinations. Mr Graham also chairs ActewAGL's strategic investment committee.
