Water
You will never need to apply to change your water and sewerage account to a new property. Water and sewerage accounts remain linked to the property title and automatically transfer to the new owner upon transfer of title at settlement.
All businesses in the ACT that generate non-domestic wastewater, also known as trade waste, must by law be approved by ActewAGL to discharge such wastewater to the sewer. For further information visit “Non-domestic wastewater management”.

For new, additional, stolen or lost recycling or garbage bins call Canberra Connect on 13 22 81. If your bin is damaged, call Cleanaway on 02 6260 1472 (recycling) or 02 6260 1547 (garbage) for a repair/replacement.
