Keeping a watchful eye on our dam levels has become a favourite local pastime in Canberra in recent times. In this section you can check the current water levels of our dams and reservoirs and view a range of other water statistics for the region including:
- Dam volumes
The volume of water stored in our dams as a percentage of the total storage capacity and of each dam's capacity
- Total rainfall for the past 12 months with comparisons to the long term average
- Daily consumption
The total volume of water used daily by the ACT and Queanbeyan over the last eight days
- Total annual consumption
Total volume of water used annually, including the current year and the previous 10 years
- Reservoir storage volume
The total volume of water stored in the service reservoirs around the city (maximum storage is approximately 912 megalitres (ML) and minimum storage should be above 450ML for effective distribution)
