Fixed-use plans for home
Depending on the plan you choose, we will buy a fixed amount of green energy on your behalf each day. This way, you know exactly how much you will pay every quarter for Greenchoice, no matter what your total electricity account comes to.
As a guide, a three bedroom home uses 10 – 30kWh of electricity per day. This equates to 3.43 – 10.30 tonnes per annum.
There are four plans to choose from under this option. You can purchase more than 20kWh per day if you wish.
Anyone in Australia can sign up to a fixed-use Greenchoice plan. You don’t need to be an existing ActewAGL customer. If you are not an existing ActewAGL customer, ActewAGL will bill you separately for your Greenchoice fixed use plan. If you are an existing ActewAGL customer, the additional amount for your Greenchoice fixed use plan will appear separately on your electricity bill.
