Sustainable homes
Many features in our homes can be redesigned for sustainable living.
For example:
- solar panels can be used to heat water for baths and dishwashing
- rainwater tanks can be used to collect rainwater and reduce the need for piped water
- waste water from showers and laundries can be recycled as greywater for use in gardens.
