Many features in our homes can be redesigned for sustainable living.

For example:

• solar panels can be used to heat water for baths and dishwashing
• rainwater tanks can be used to collect rainwater and reduce the need for piped water
• waste water from showers and laundries can be recycled as greywater for use in gardens.

The Eco-living Exhibition features three state-of-the-art energy- and water- efficient display homes at Majura Rise Estate, North Watson.

Developed by ActewAGL , ACTEW Corporation (ACTEW) and Canberra Investment Corporation (CIC) , the exhibition showcases environmentally sustainable design principles that deliver water and energy savings.
