Tour the Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre
The Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre (LWMWQCC) offers a fun and educational tour of the facilities for members of the public, community groups, and school groups.
Each tour typically consists of a video presentation and talk, followed by a tour of some or all of the facilities, depending on each group's particular needs.
How to book a tour
To book a tour with us, simply submit an online application form. Please note that LMWQCC can only cater for one tour a day.
For the safety and convenience of all our visitors, and to ensure that there are no disruptions to LMWQCC's operations, the following guidelines should be noted when organising a tour:
- groups must have a minimum of ten (10), and a maximum of thirty (30) persons
- all participants should always wear comfortable and sturdy footwear.
School groups
Most school tours are organised for Year 9 students and above. If you would like to organise a tour for students below this level you will require a bus for the tour.
In addition, the following guidelines must be noted:
- if the school travels to LMWQCC by bus, it is required that the bus remain with the group for transport around the site
- school groups must have one responsible adult for each fifteen (15) students.
